The Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights of 1966 and other international treatises on human rights recognise HOUSING AS A FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT FOR EVERYONE. A right that has been included as part of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda (SDG 11). In spite of this, 20% of the world’s population still has no access to decent housing.
